Celebrity Flora is the first ship of its kind to be built especially for the Galápagos Islands. This 100 passenger all-suite mega-yacht features our innovative outward-facing concept—designed to ensure the destination remains the center of attention during your sailing. Inspired by the islands and built with natural materials, the ship merges seamlessly with the surroundings, giving you a feeling of total immersion. To bring you an even more in-depth experience, certified naturalists from the Galápagos National Park are on board to guide the journey.

Proving you can practice responsible tourism and deliver ultimate luxury at the same time, Celebrity Flora was built with the latest environmental technologies. The dynamic positioning system allows the mega-yacht to remain on station without dropping anchors, protecting the seabed—and the solar panels supplement electricity, reducing emissions. The result is one of the most eco-friendly ships sailing anywhere—just one reason Celebrity Flora was voted “Best Overall Cruise Ship” in 2019.

As the first ship ever designed for a destination, we wanted to ensure that Cele....brity Flora was built with every state-of-the-art option and latest technology to make her one of the most eco-friendly and environmentally safe ships sailing on the planet. From a Dynamic Positioning System that enables the ship to stay on station without the use of anchors (to help protect the seas) to the solar panels on Deck 7 (it’s the first ship of this size to have them) that supplements the ship’s electricity supply and reduces emissions. They feature stairs with a metal railing that fits flush against the open aft creating a seamless ship to shore transportation system that makes it even easier to go exploring the islands—a first in the Galapagos. Each tender also features a hydraulic ramp that makes wet landings in the islands much more convenient—and less wet. It can also be used as a platform that makes getting on and off for snorkeling much easier. Other features not found on the standard tender include storage space for snorkel gear and interior seating.
